I`m a picture book illustrator and this is my story
I’m a children’s book illustrator with over 9 years of experience, and my journey into illustration has been anything but ordinary. I was born and raised in Belarus and now live with my family in the charming town of Wroclaw, Poland. Like many children, I loved drawing—but I never imagined that one day I’d turn that childhood joy into my career.

Life, as it often does, surprised me. At the age of 27, I made a bold decision to leave my previous career path behind and follow what truly made my heart beat faster: drawing.
At first I worked with just a pencil and paper. But I felt that I needed a greater challenge. That’s why I started exploring different types of materials—and everything changed. They were not just tools, but an entirely new way of bringing warmth, texture, and emotion into every illustration.

I started drawing with watercolors, gouache and colored pencils, pastel crayons. Illustrations made with traditional materials still make me feel delightful and enthusiastic. Perhaps in the near future, I will use traditional materials in my work as well.
But today I prefer to draw all my projects in digital art programs, and I get a lot of pleasure from it. My main assistants are the tablet Wacom for Photoshop illustrations and my iPad which I use to draw in Procreate.
